About this experience

CityWalk also runs free walking tours in Reykjavik, and this is its paid food walk. You meet inside the Old Harbour House restaurant on Aegisgardur at 1 PM, look for the guide with the CityWalk logo, and walk east past Harpa into the centre. The group is capped at ten, and at $137 it is the lowest-priced food walk on this site.

The itinerary names two eating stops: the hot dog stand Baejarins Beztu Pylsur (10 minutes) and Icelandic Street Food (20 minutes), with Parliament House on the way. It finishes by Hallgrimskirkja with ice cream from Cafe Loki, the traditional cafe opposite the church. Guests say there is a lot to eat, and one tried the shark.

Read the small print. The listing says it is not recommended for travellers with back problems, heart problems or other serious medical conditions, or for pregnant travellers, and it is not wheelchair accessible. Gratuities are not included.
