Drinks are where the tours differ most. The traditional tasting tour includes water at every stop and alcoholic drinks. Bites, Brews & Views pours Icelandic beers and ends with a cocktail, and the history walk finishes with craft beer. The private tour lists dinner and alcoholic drinks.

The Viator listing for the Food Walk names the walk, the stops and the dishes, but no drinks, and the hot chocolate walk serves hot chocolate. If you'd rather not drink, that's a plus, not a gap.

Do you tip on a food tour in Iceland?

It isn't expected in Iceland, and restaurant bills already include a service charge. For tours, a tip is your choice.

Visit Reykjanes sums up the custom: in Iceland tipping in a restaurant, even a fancy one, "is never expected but always appreciated", and the price already includes taxes and a service charge. Several listings, such as the traditional tasting tour and the street food walk, exclude gratuities, which only means a tip is up to you.

The government's 2027 budget proposal lists increased charges on tourists among its measures (the page is in Icelandic). Operators set tour prices themselves, and free cancellation up to 24 hours before applies to every tour here.
